Yoga Teacher Training
She completed 200-hour training through Kristin Kaoverri's Subtle Yoga and Personal Transformation Program (2012). Certified in Kids Yoga through the Grounded Kids Program (2013) and Prenatal Yoga through Amani Murray, RPYT (2014). She is currently continuing her Hatha Yoga studies with Maya Breuer E-RYT 500.
Where Do You Teach
She teaches yoga full-time in North and South Carolina.
Kiesha has created yoga programs for seniors, expecting mothers, and kids, including elementary, middle after-school programs, and summer camps. She is featured in the book Yes Yoga Has Curves.
Kiesha is a graduate of Seton Hall University. Her undergraduate minor was Asian studies. She went to pursue a Master's degree in Asian studies and a certification in International Business. Her academic focus on Asian humanities, religion, and modern language exposed her to East Asian (Taoism) and Indian philosophies (Hinduism and Buddhism).
In addition to yoga, Kiesha has over 15 years of corporate experience in business with an expertise in project management, IT audit, training and development. She lives in Charlotte, NC with her husband and two school-aged boys.
